Elsősorban gyerekéknél végzett kezelés, melynek során a frissen előbújt maradó rágófogak egyenetlen rágófelszínén, fúrás nélkül megfelelő előkészítéssel, a mély barázdákat folyékony tömőanyaggal feltöltjük. A fogfelszín simábbá, jobban tisztíthatóvá válik, ezáltal a fog korai szuvasodása elkerülhető.
A cirkónium alapú korona hasonló erőhatásoknak ellenáll, mint a fémkerámia korona, de esztétikumban messze felülmúlja azt. A legszembetűnőbb különbség a kettő között az, hogy míg a fémváz szürke, addig a cirkónium váz hófehér. Az idő múlásával a fogíny néhány millimétert visszahúzódhat, melynek következtében a fémkerámia korona szürke szegélye szembetűnővé válhat. Cirkónium korona használatával ez a probléma megszűnik. Emellett a cirkónium nagyon szövetbarát, kevésbé irritálja az ínyt, és kivédhetőek vele a fémkerámiánál jelentkező hőmérsékleti hatások, melyek a fém hővezetéséből adódnak.
Szilárdsága lehetővé teszi, hogy hosszabb hidakat is elkészíthessünk belőle, így több fog pótlását, akár a teljes fogívre kiterjedő körhíd elkészítését is könnyedén meg lehet vele oldani.
Számítógép vezérelt CAD/CAM tervező és kivitelező rendszerrel készül, ennek köszönhetően az emberi kéz által készített koronákhoz képest sokkal pontosabb és jobb minőségű fogpótlásokat lehet ezzel az eljárással készíteni, melyek élettartama is hosszabb az átlagosnál.
Mindezen tulajdonságokat összevetve elmondható, hogy napjainkban a cirkóniumból készíthetők a legmagasabb szintű pótlások.

A ''teljes fogazat'' fehérítése 20%-os hidrogén-peroxid (H~~2~~O~~2~~) hatóanyagot tartalmazó zselés anyaggal történik, a paciens fogazatára elkészített fólia sín segítségével. A sínt a paciens otthonában tölti fel a fehérítő anyaggal és helyezi a szájába. Napközben és éjszaka is egyaránt viselhető.
A kívánt eredmény egy hét - tíz nap alatt érhető el attól függően, hogy a sín mennyi ideig volt szájban.
''Elszíneződött, gyökérkezelt fogak'' fehérítésére is lehetőség van. Ehhez 40%-os hidrogén-peroxid (H~~2~~O~~2~~) tartalmú anyagot használunk. A fogból eltávolítva a töméseket, az így keletkezett üregbe helyezzük az anyagot és ideiglenes tömőanyaggal lezárjuk. A fehértőanyagot legalább hetente kétszer cserélni kell. A kívánt eredmény eléréséhez két-három hét szükséges.
